I recently sprang for an old Nikon 28 to 80mm AF lens. Which has a 58mm front and I needed a step up ring to attach an old Nikon HN12 lens hood. Originally this hood was specific for Nikon polarizer.
Simple step-iup ring from a 58mm lens to a 60mm filter. All metal construction, solid, nice threads. Does the job with no complaints.
I bought this, along with a UV filter, to use with my Vello Macrofier reverse macro adapter to protect the back side of my lens. I screwed the 60mm side to the adapter and then used a normal 58mm filter(reversed)
works perfect!
It works as expected.. Nothing fancy.
