The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 has a 49mm filter threading. This is adapter allows you to put a 62mm filter on a lens with a 49mm thread. It will work with the Canon 50mm F/1.8, B&H # CA5018EFSTM.

They are about 5mm thick which is about the same as a standard UV filter ring.

Are both threads fine/standard or is the 95mm coarse like the Canon RF 28-70L and the 67mm fine?
The Sensei 67-95mm Aluminum Step-Up Ring has course 1.0 pitch threading on the 95mm side, and standard 0.75 pitch on the 67mm side. This is fairly standard for these sizes.

If I have a camera with a 30mm lens, and a 37mm fisheye, do I need a step up or step down ring?
If your filter/attachment is larger than your lens, it's a step-up. In this case, your fisheye attachment is 37mm and your lens' front diameter is 30mm, hence, you'd need a step-up ring.
